The Backpack Company was founded in 2011 by Thomas Malone and Bernard Pawlowicz. The idea was simple: make the world a better place. When you purchase one of our bags, we will donate another backpack filled with school supplies to a child in need. We wanted the bags to contain school supplies because we believe that education is extremely important. In fact, we are convinced that education is the key to Closing the Gap between First and Third World nations. On top of providing these children with an excitement towards education, we can't wait to see the smiles on their faces when we place a new backpack in their hands. How rad is that.
